Thomas Quickstad DDS Dentistry for All Ages

For the past 13 years I’ve been making trips to the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Haiti. The dental clinic at the hospital has always been poorly equipped and didn’t allow me to provide some restorative procedures that could save teeth. Three weeks ago I found some good used dental equipment at a warehouse in Tacoma. I purchased a dental chair, light and delivery system. This will allow me to have compressed air, suction and water – all the things that are crucial for filling teeth. The equipment left for Miami today and hopefully will be placed in a container bound for Port-au-Prince at the end of July. I will be in Haiti in October to help with the installation of the new equipment. Dr. Tom
